I stayed for two nights with my family while exploring the local attractions like the Michael Collins House, which was just across the street. The room was ideal for our needs, featuring two twin beds for the kids and an area that felt like its own room. I really appreciated the little extras, like the in-room coffee machine and the pitcher of water. Everything felt updated yet maintained a historic charm, and the restaurant on site served a nice breakfast.

The room felt stifling without air conditioning, and there was no refrigerator to keep my drinks cool, which was uncomfortable during the warm days. the bed consisted of two singles pushed together, making it less than ideal for a restful sleep. Hearing other guests through the thin walls was quite distracting, and the limited TV channels offered little entertainment during my stay.

This place suits me perfectly with great wi-fi, a bar/lounge area, and in-room breakfast. The friendly staff even helped me find a local taxi on my first stay. I recommend trying their breakfast—it’s delightful! I'm returning for a city trip.

Enjoyed the charming atmosphere and the warm welcome from the staff. I loved the breakfast options, especially the pancakes for the kids and the Full Irish with Clonakilty sausages. The family room was spacious, providing enough room for my young kids. The location is fantastic, just a short walk to the town and a lovely park across the road. the lack of a fan in our family room made it uncomfortable during the hot weather. There were also noise disturbances late at night from the staff area just outside our window, which made it challenging to get the kids to sleep. Despite the inconveniences, I would still recommend it for the food and the staff's attentiveness.

I stayed in a double room for 1 night, and it was really cozy! The room had this charming vibe with unique decor and was super clean. I loved the little porch area outside, perfect for a morning coffee. Plus, there was a tiny window I could open for fresh air. It felt spacious, which was nice! The bedspread was a cheerful sunshiny yellow. Great experience overall!

The staff provided exceptional service, offering a warm welcome and making the stay feel personal. The breakfast was impressive with high-quality offerings, and the in-room amenities like the Nespresso coffee maker added a nice touch. Its central location made it easy to explore Clonakilty and the surrounding area, providing convenient access to attractions.
